I was talking about the potential harm that young babies can suffer when flying. It's commonly accepted and every parent would know that within 2 weeks of birth is a no-no, and certain precautions are advised if under 2 years old (which yours was).
I think the issue with flying is, that you can never quiet predict what it might do to you. A few times with a snotty nose the air pressure has built up to an ear splitting experience. With a child under 2, they cannot tell you whats wrong.

What pisses me off on charter flights is, that they are geared towards families, but yet you are cattled on and there is nowhere to walk off to as the planes are so small. With that in mind, on a plane full of kids & families don't get tulipty if someone's kid cries.

We've only been abroad once with her in 2 years since it happened.

What pisses me off about anything other than first class flying is that it's designed along lines that would contravene all regulations for the transport of farm animals; that's why I don't use planes if there is a reasonable possibility of going somewhere by high speed train.

However, what I find even more irritating than young children is new parents telling us how their bundle of joy (and puke and tulip and piss and dribble) brings so much pleasure to their lives and has made their home complete etc etc etc
You can get help for your "firing blanks" problem you know, jaffa boy.

You mean I can happily fire blanks for the rest of my life?

Yeah I know, I might book in for that.

I find people who don't want kids tend to be self centred selfish egotistical winkers.

They give many reasons for not wanting kids but it all boils down to "I cannot be arsed because I am the most important person in my life."

On the subject of kids in planes/restuarants/other public places I would expect them to an extent to behave like average adults - because lets be honest how many times have you gone out and had your evening ruined by an adult as opposed to a child.

That's because people with kids are so often asking why people don't want kids, then trying to convince us of how wonderful kids are, so people who don't want kids have to think up stupid reasons for not wanting them.

For us there's no 'reason'; it's just not something we want. Simple.

                  Yo Mich,

The reason is you want to spend more time on your self and less time on other people.

Dress it up how you want

I have nothing against people who don't want children, but I'm not too keen on the ones who have them and then decide they don't want them. They seem to be the source of most of the problems.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

No, I want to spend more time on (or underneath) Lady Tester.
