Santa (well Mrs sas) was kind enough to give me a Kindle this Christmas.
If you are a serious reader, its well worth it.
It fits in my coat breast pocket, one charge lasts for days, with the 3G version you can get a book instantly 365/24/7.
The display is great and easy on the eye.
The only disadvantages I have found:
1. Reading pdfs with 2 columns per page is not that great. You have to resize the screen, then scrolling across is a pain.
I haven't managed to find a comfortable way of doing this yet
2. Maths symbols don't format correctly sometimes. Not sure if this an instrinsic problem with the Kindle standard or simply a bad implementation in these particular cases.
But if you read "normal" books regularly, it's a must have.
