Well looks the sea levels might start dropping so we have to do something:

Sea level may drop in 2010 | Watts Up With That?

To be fair, we are talking about such miniscule changes, that some fluctuation , up and down is to be expected. But one thing is for sure, the longer the levels fluctuate by such small amounts, the more massive the changes will have to be to meet the IPCC prediction of 1 metre by 2100.

they only have 89 years left now

You are forgetting about the hockey stick of sea level rises that some scientists will tack on the end of this insignificant natural rise in sea levels in order to attract huge funding for their cause.

WUWT is a joke. The sea level data for 2010 is not yet available, even if the calendar year shows an overall fall, extrapolating from such a short period shows a staggering degree of statistical illiteracy even for a propaganda site renowned for its ignorance of basic science.

So you think the fact that the sea level rising at the same rate it's being doing for centuries is caused by the C02 levels of the last 30 years. Where's the acceleration? oh there isn't one.

Brisbane gets flooded out every 30 years or so, but this particular flood is due to global warming.

It really gets more and more pathetic.

If it rains on Wednesday this is no doubt due to global warming, because if it hadn't warmed it would have rained on Thursday.

aye. but sticking to the facts, ignoring the green fascists, scientists on the make and lying politicians we are left with one saliant point here.

pj has hung his hat on the IPCC predictions. if they fail he will consider the whole edifice falsified. that means a sea level rise of 1 metre in 89 years. It didnt seem so daft when it was 1 metre in 105 years, but the clock is ticking. time will destroy this lunacy.

their contortions will get more and more ridiculous. they will be drowned by laughter, not sea water

In 89 years time will we get all the money back the government has robbed us in the name of "Carbon taxes"?

They can give it back to my grandchildren, with interest.

                  Nonsense!

That's like what, a couple of first class tickets for a couple of good chaps and their missuses going on a "fact finding" trip to Maldives?

...and while we're on the topic.

Here is an example of Dr Trenberth plagiarising text for his up coming presentation:

                    Climate Audit

That sums up the intellectual redundancy in climate science.
