Hmm. Since I got -ve rep "negative hey?" for that ( ) I suppose I'd better explain.

A discussion occurred some time ago on here where a BTL landlord recommended to others such tactics as putting pale coloured carpet down in kitchens to guarantee tenants never get their deposit back.

Quite a few of the places I have rented have had carpets in the kitchen; it is a nightmare to live with.
