    The state is a thief

    The state is legalised theft.

Take for example what happens when you get old. Need long term care? Then be prepared for the state to liquidise all your assets if you have over £22-25k of assets, including your home. How immoral. So you're unlucky needing long term care and then the hideous mugger called the state steals all your assets and you've nothing left to leave your kids? What did you pay your taxes for? Obviously not for you to be cared for when old and fragile.

If you don't require long term care, inheritance tax will steal money from you when you die.

There are even limits on how much gifts you can give your own family when alive ! How dare they?

The state steals money from you when alive but mugs you when you're old and fragile, or dead.

The government go out of their way to claw back everything you earn and own.

Meanwhile, millions of lazy folks do nothing pay no taxes get welfare all their lives and get everything paid for from YOUR taxes.

And communist mugs like sasgaru think this is well-fair?

Many of you will work hard to accumulate assets, depriving yourselves of luxuries, that extra holiday, that nicer car... for what? For nothing perhaps, if you're unlucky enough to need long term care. All that accumulation of assets goes to the government.

God bless the students of the UK I say.

Many of them put their trust in a fraudster called Nick Clegg and his buddy Vince Cable.

No more fees they said. They get in government and introduce £9k/year tuition fees.

If anyone else did that in society, would they get away with it? Why are we letting them get away with it?

      Don't talk bollocks.

There is no money in the kitty! It's ******* empty. Clegg knows this and has had to change his stance. He's a realist, not a bloody dreamer. He made his original statements for two reasons, one that he never thought he'd be part of the coalition and two because he wasn't aware of the real state of Britain's finances.

That makes him unfit for office.

We are in huge debt, yes. Fees is not a way out of that debt.

In what way? He's aware of it now.

With regards to the fees, they ease the burden on the tax payer.

No they don't, it hardly makes no difference to the huge national debt.

Plus grads will have less money to spend in society as they have the fees to pay back, with INTEREST.

Students these days are only interested in themselves same as everyone else.

I've not noticed any protests regarding nuclear energy, freedom of speech the way they used to in the past, but when something hits them in the pockets...

Complaints about broken promises make very little sense in a coalition. How can both partners keep mutually incompatible promises exactly? The alternative was more Labour, rule by a party rejected by the electorate who only got the number of seats they did because of our crap electoral system, and a different set of broken promises.

PS Athough agree with most of the rest of it.
