I think it's sad that so many on here have no concept of religion or God. It must leave a great hole in ones life.

I would tend to agree that those who state categorically that god does not exist are being illogical. However, mere existence of a god is irrelevant, to be religious you must also believe in a soul/afterlife and a god who personally believes in our salvation and rewards us according to what we do. The arguments against those things are far more convincing.

Really, what atheism is mostly about for the non fanatics we don't hear from is just pragmatism, basing one's life on what we actually do know rather than on unsupported theories and letting obvious explanations take precedence over convoluted ones.

What I don't understand is why the non-believers care what the people of faith think?

I don't recall people of faith coming on here and posting about God and how athiests/non believers etc are all idiots so why is it ok for the non believers to do this?

I bet he does believe in aliens. They often do. No evidence for aliens but that doens't stop these hypocrits believing in them.

Becuase they want to undermine the Christian basis of our society and laws to further their degenerate agendas. And because they are very insecure about their atheism they need to repeat religiously their copied and paste arguments every day, understandably.
