Felt a bit rough Saturday night, but it eased off. Sunday afternoon, felt rough again and it kept getting worse until I called an ambulance for a suspected heart attack. The paramedics hooked me up to their box of tricks and decided there was something abnormal going on.
Luckily one of the local teaching hospitals had a
Coronary Care team that was feeling a bit bored, so the paramedics took me straight there, bypassing A&E at the other hospital altogether.
Within ninety minutes of my 999 call, the specialist was just finishing off an emergency angioplasty. NHS FTW
Anyway, hopefully I'll be home before too long and can get this week's links posted then. Unfortunately the signal on this ward is rubbish, although at least they let us use mobiles in here nowadays.*
