Next door neighbour could not even offer the door to them, she is the talk of the street.

Presumably the entire street is gone with now fire engine available. Or are you putting it out by throwing snowballs?Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Right, that was a shift.
Got the 2 old brothers in the house, got them tea, made them soup, listened to aviva give an old guy the run around when he was crying in front of me, listened to them crap it when I phoned. Organised accommodation for them and managed their family on the phone when they never bothered to get their soggy arses down the road to deal with the situation. Seen my neighbour close a curtain when a house was burning down across the road.
I'm going down to oddbins.Comment

I think I earned that beer, and it never lasted long.
There was a time Glasgow folk would do anything for the person on the street. Closing your curtain.
One of the chaps in in hosptal now, he will be OK but he is 78.
Anyway, snow, it is really bad out there as I learned on my trip to oddbins.Comment

Wow every day something extra ordinary happens to you, almost as if you are making it up (except the part where it always ends in you drinking alcohol).Originally posted by minestrone View PostRight, that was a shift.
