Saw a fire, the neighbours unbelievably didn't help so I sprinted over and then sorted out their insurance.

The version based on reading his posts
Saw a fire and sat watching it long enough for it to spread to another house while posting about it on CUK. After giving the neighbours time to help, finally decided to get involved.

Credit for doing the right thing, undeniably. But I wouldn't get a hero complex just yet.
