I have only once ever had JWs come round, even though they have a meeting room across the street from where I live they never visit. Obviously not trying hard enough.
Could it be that because you lived so close to "Kingdom Hall" that if you were interested you'd have popped in to see them?

    Just thinking like...

I happen to believe that there is fact behind old Noah in the same way as Atlantis.

Both have existed and were real but have been changed and lost over time.

They tend to have the sense not to hassle their neighbours; I believe it may be policy.

          Noah's Ark

How else would you explain the presence of strange fossilised fish 100's of feet above sea level and the bones of weird animals the like of which no longer exist to an illiterate underclass?

It depends on where those illiterate underclass are.

Try explaining to Australian kids that all the kangaroos hooped out of the Ark and travelled en masse to an island thousands of miles away.

The kiwis rode them all the way there and then swam the last few thousand miles to NZ.....

And when. I was referring to the original recipients of the story a couple of thousand or so years ago.

I don't think you can get out of evangelising to people on the argument "they're lazy, it's only across the road".

I think thousands of years ago, they weren't too fussed by such things. It took a long time to get from finding fossils to piecing together what the animals might have looked like. I don't think people all that time ago would have had the scientific nous to concoct a flood to explain fossils and tectonics.

Of course they would. And their imaginitive genes live on today within the community that has the scientific nous to concoct the hockeystick to explain why we should all just hand over more taxes.

But the kangaroos DO get a mention, in genesis 6.20
'two of every kind will come to you to keep them alive'

now if that does not specifically cover kangaroos, what does ?
