I once bought a tie that shrank when it rained. Or rather it shrivelled up inside. They put a special material inside that dissolves when wet, rendering the tie useless.

Is it true that all Eddie Stobart drivers are encouraged to wave back at people who wave at them?

The Eddie Stobart driver stood next to the overturned lorry on the Cheadle bypass roundabout to the M60 one morning last month looked very smart in a uniform but he didn't look like he was up for waving at anyone. HTH

At the moment - nah. I have taken 'dress down' way beyond the pale.

Previously (abroad) - casual (very), but had a lightweight suit in the office if needed.

Previously (City) - full monty suit, tie, etc. I actually loved it.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
