good effort though. it's good to know you can rough it with the real men.Originally posted by TimberWolf View PostWell I had a half hearted go with shaving with a yellow bic, sans water or other lubricants, today and the results are as follows: I just tried on the neck, which is probably the easiest place second only to below the sideburns, and this worked okay. I didn't attempt the chin area as the stubble was a bit too long. No doubt the moustache area would have been a pain, literally. It is possibly a possible possibility with lesser stubble and a sharp razor, but at this point I whipped out the electric shaver and was done with it.

WH&SS.
Back OnT: I wore a beard for many years when I had long hair, purely because I loathe shaving, but the damn thing was a disgrace: stringy and threadbare, with hints of ginger despite my natural hair colour being of the blonde to light brown variety. When my natural hair colour decided to switch to grey I got rid of the long hair, which meant the beard had to go too - it was bad enough as an accessory after the fact, but no way could it be a primary feature.
This meant that I had to learn how to shave properly in my late thirties. It's not as easy as it looks on the telly

How long before the next super-duper razor comes out with 6 blades? I mean FFS? How many do you really need? Why not just stick your head into your lawn mower?
