Has he grown a beard and moved into a caravan yet?Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

They didn't when both were at UnitedOriginally posted by FiveTimes View PostRooney is neither fat or untalented, and coming from a 'pool fan that is high praise
If he went to City, him and Tevez could rip apart the league.
Which is why Fergie gave him extra time off. The rails came off Uniteds season last year when Rooney picked up the injury. Had he had the World Cup people were predicting then I could see this happeing, but to be honest he really was tulip!Originally posted by FiveTimes View PostHe has been a great player for club and country but is struggling with form since his ankle injury in March. Same could be said for Torres.
They have both been rushed back too quick.
Once this "new" ankle injury has heeled he will have a spell on the bench and Man U will look to off load in Jan in order to get max funds for him.
He might need to look at increasing his fire insurance if he does though - Tevez was able to go to City because in the scheme of things while popular at United he wasn't on the same level as Rooney. If Rooney goes, especially after proclaiming his love for the club and a desire to stay for life then I think the fans would not take too kindly to that - he better watch his back if he's down Surrey way!!Originally posted by FiveTimes View PostOnce this "new" ankle injury has heeled he will have a spell on the bench and Man U will look to off load in Jan in order to get max funds for him. Plus Selling him to City won't jeopardise their chance in the CL this year.
But as a United fan, this is the sort of move united fans need to accept if we are to do a Liverpool and force the yanks out. The value of the club as a whole needs to be reduced - offloading top name players and replacing them with the chris smallings of this world is just the way to do itRule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.
I preferred version 1!Comment

Crouch is a bit of a puzzle. He scores lots of goals but you struggle to watch him play and not feel like he shouldn't be there.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostSo for example, he may be Englands 'leading' goalscorer in the present team, but his ratio of appearances/goals is way way below Peter Crouch. So who do we leave off the bench in the WC???
Since when is that a problem? And I'm not defending him personally - I don't really care - but attacking the habit making stupid claims that can't be backed by fact.Originally posted by SupremeSpod View PostWell be honest, you're not really defending Shrek, you're just trying to stir things up.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

He scores a lot against tulip teams - one he (or England for that matter) start scoring a lot against likes of Brazil, Spain, Italy or Germany then there would be reasons to value such goals, until then scoring in matches with Andorra ( BBC Sport - Football : England 6-0 Andorra ) should not be even on the official record.Originally posted by d000hg View PostCrouch is a bit of a puzzle. That's an interesting point. I was thinking how Ozil and Van Der Vaart would have spiced up that team, and they would only have cost 25 million for the pair.Originally posted by TonyEnglish View PostBut as a United fan, this is the sort of move united fans need to accept if we are to do a Liverpool and force the yanks out. Either Man Utd aren't the draw they were for top players, or Ferguson is deliberately dumbing down his squad for some reason. He's had a bit of money or he wouldn't have splashed out 6 million on that unknown bloke from the Spanish third division.Comment
