No I think he seriously cannot compete - the club can say that there is cash available as much as they like, the truth can be seen in the faces brought in. Since old Lead Boots berbatov got there there has been nothing - even Tevez was brought in on loan.Originally posted by Doggy Styles View PostThat's an interesting point. I was thinking how Ozil and Van Der Vaart would have spiced up that team, and they would only have cost 25 million for the pair.
Either Man Utd aren't the draw they were for top players, or Ferguson is deliberately dumbing down his squad for some reason. He's had a bit of money or he wouldn't have splashed out 6 million on that unknown bloke from the Spanish third division.
I see dark days ahead for United.Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

I suppose in any job you can lose the sparkle that makes you perform. That's one reason I wanted to do freelancing, to avoid the same employer for year after year. Equally you can just never quite get going. Tevez at Man U was an example... he's pretty good now with City. Robhino at Man City was another, he was hopeless but we saw him sparkle for Brazil.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Everyone is saying that Rooney is off for as much money as he can get, but Man Utd haven't been the highest payers for several years and it hasn't bothered him up to now.Originally posted by TonyEnglish View PostNo I think he seriously cannot compete - the club can say that there is cash available as much as they like, the truth can be seen in the faces brought in. I reckon he looked around the rest of the squad for this season and thinks the same as you.Comment

This just gets better. Looks like 'Woy of the Wobbers' is looking to capitalise on Rooneygate and offload sicknote Torres to the swamp.

Looks like he was upping the price all along - I wish I could do that with my contracts!Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

Psst, you can actually - when your contract is up for renewal demand to be on par with Rooney pay wise.Originally posted by TonyEnglish View PostLooks like he was upping the price all along - I wish I could do that with my contracts!Comment

I there a cunning plan going on ?
New contract means rooney can't buy himself out of current one, contract doesn't expire and as a result means he wont' be sold for cut price in Jan/July '11.
I still think he will get sold, and by signing the contract he price has been stabilised and everyone is a winner. Club get top dollar, rooney gets his move.Comment
