C. Ronaldo. Drogba. Malouda. Messi, even for crying out loud.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostYeah! That's right! And! And! Don't forget he scored all those goals in the World Cup!
Why the fascination with his weight? He still runs about chasing the ball far more than most rather than standing waiting for a tap in. He's a big lad... but way smaller than rugby players.Originally posted by shaunbhoy View PostHe is an overweight petulant has-been that is well on his way to being the Gazza of his generation.Last edited by d000hg; 19 October 2010, 23:48.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

You want to take those blinkers off.Originally posted by d000hg View PostHe's neither talentless nor fat, if we take facts into consideration. 50% is pretty good though.
I'd say he's far less a f**ker than C. Ronaldo as well - he doesn't stand around saying "look at me" and checking his hair like that arrogant git. And being ugly is a bonus because he doesn't need to be scared of going full-on into a tackle and breaking his looks .

Rooney is neither fat or untalented, and coming from a 'pool fan that is high praise
If he went to City, him and Tevez could rip apart the league.
He has been a great player for club and country but is struggling with form since his ankle injury in March. Same could be said for Torres.
They have both been rushed back too quick.
Once this "new" ankle injury has heeled he will have a spell on the bench and Man U will look to off load in Jan in order to get max funds for him. Plus Selling him to City won't jeopardise their chance in the CL this year.Comment

I beg to differ on the country part.... yes, he's be great for United quite a lot, just not so much recently.Originally posted by FiveTimes View PostHe has been a great player for club and country
But on the international stage, when it really counts he's delivered nothing....not even a single goal in two world cup tournaments.Comment

England were cruising against Portugal until Rooney got sent off, we could have/should have won that game.Originally posted by Mr.Whippy View PostI beg to differ on the country part.... yes, he's be great for United quite a lot, just not so much recently.

Same could be said for Lampard.
Sometimes Roo sets up for other players, Crouch has done well playing along side, so has defoeComment

I'm not a United fan or a Rooney fan, I don't like the guy. My argument is based on empirical facts you can look up, and on the respect other players and clubs (i.e. professionals) have for him. There may be blinkers in this discussion but they're not mine. I think you've a grudge...Originally posted by SupremeSpod View PostYou want to take those blinkers off.
