Episode One: gricerboy dies.
A detective who is clearly so emotionally screwed up that he ought to have been hospitalised years ago starts to investigate the case. Initially, his chaotic mental state leads him to arrest threaded on the basis of server logs. When he realises that gricerboy never actually existed but was merely a figment of threaded's somewhat limited imagination, he commits suicide halfway through the first series.
Higher powers then decide that threaded should nonetheless be sent to Guantanamo Bay, as a massive surplus of non-halal pies is threatening the political stability of the region. After the extraordinary rendition has been carried out the remainder of the series is cancelled and replaced with re-runs of I Love Lucy.
