All systems to collapse due to date 01-10-10?

    Bollocks.

End of the world as it is the final date of the Wollombawombo tribe's calendar?

    More realistic.

    Stock market crash?

Yeah, I guess if all the anal-ists decide they want a crash there'll be a crash.

I can't find it now, but I was reading someone going on about that there was no reason to keep the markets up once the third quarter has ended. Apart from the US mid-term elections that is.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

That's how it works. Lots of Bloomberg fans write rumours on their web bogs or twatter accounts saying the stock market's going to crash and then it does. No self fulfilling prophecies at all.

Oh sorry HAB, didn't mean to suggest you're an anal-ist too.

Had a nice dump this morning?

Dutch Antilles will be split up giving the smaller islands a more direct connection to the Netherlands, rather than being managed by Curacao. They will also adopt the USD as currency over the NAF.

Makes no difference to me which direction markets go, or even which market. Up or down, it's all the same; just need to have an idea of what is going to move and what direction.

This morning, I got up a bit late (just after the 8am news) so having a good ol' bladder egress was more important than a dump.
