I used to imagine nobody believed anything for real either, until I entered the big wide world.You might want to broaden your view of the world - I respect your right to believe whatever you want, it's not about that, but to suppose everyone is atheist is very narrow minded. I bet even on the secular and rarefied community that is CUK, less than an overwhelming majority would claim there is nothing beyond random chance.

I did try to believe in god once, but I embarrassed myself. I just didn't believe it in my heart and realised that looking like an idiot to myself was worse than looking like an idiot to other people.

It's all random chance (but probably more Bayesian if one gets down to it).

But go for it if you can believe it.

I suggest as well as moving General and getting rid of the post count for newbies that we have a public exorcism and baptism for our godless mods!

Like I said, my point is not if MP is atheist. It's not even what MP thinks about people who are not atheist. It's that she seems not to believe there are non-atheists, which I find pretty baffling.

We could get back on topic, but the original topic was pretty dull. 4 pages of discussion over "should General be the top forum on the list"... personally I think it could be but that this will make no difference to anything.
