I worked at the head office and new starters would often end up spending time at other business units' offices and eventually would become part of that business unit at which point their IT would be migrated - this company had different IT setups for each business unit!
On a couple of occasions, when I would ask the employee if I could make the arrangements to migrate them across to their new BU's network, they would refuse (in a nice way) as they preferred the IT support that I gave them because it was more efficient.Comment
