What is a megatonne in old money?Originally posted by zeitghostThis is, of course, a Cunning Plan to get someone to nuke Belgium.
It's only fair.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

This will never get past the Germans.
In Germany eggs come in packs of six or twelve, and they have a word Dutzend for a dozen. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

Something I've found is that they break about 40% of them before they reach the shelf. They then randomly consolidate the remainder and sell them, which means that it's not uncommon to get a box of nice free range organic eggs that has a couple of pauper eggs hidden in it.Originally posted by Pondlife View PostI bought a box of 4 the other day. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. French has douzaine. In Switzerland I've seen them in packs of 4, 6, 10, 15. You can also pick your own out of a tray. "Picnic eggs" are hard boiled and painted pretty colours. They come in boxes of 6. They do however indicate either the average or minimum weight of each egg.Originally posted by doodab View PostThis will never get past the Germans.
