    French has douzaine. In Switzerland I've seen them in packs of 4, 6, 10, 15. You can also pick your own out of a tray. "Picnic eggs" are hard boiled and painted pretty colours. They come in boxes of 6. They do however indicate either the average or minimum weight of each egg.

    How many are there in a complete tray?

    So, the only difference will be that the words "Dozen" and "Half Dozen" will be dropped. There'll still be a convenient number of eggs in a box, be it 6, 10, 12 etc.
