    Just finished reading Ben Aaronovirch's whispers under ground

    It makes a change to read a book that has a definitive ending and doesn't feel like the author is rushing to finish it.

                    The author doesn't like the Japanese much.

                    Reminds me of a chap I worked with who'd also been a POW.

                    They had to hide him away when Japanese visitors were shown around.
