Popper's work is related to logical theory and the philosophy that underpins scientific method, whereas Taleb's work is concerned with predictability and psychological bias.

I would suggest that the ratio of Fox Attacks (real or alleged) on humans vs Dog Attacks on Humans
would be at most 1:100 (possibly 1:1000 or 1:10000???)

At what point did we decide we were comparing the ratio of dog to fox attacks?
Although given the fact that Churchill doesn't believe in the reported fox attacks due to seeing a rabbit retrieve bones from a sealed coffin, I suppose any spurious and arbitrary linkages are permitted, nay even encouraged, in this Daliesque (or maybe solvent fuelled) thread.

I have also read Taleb. His interesting insights into psychological bias are completely applicable to this thread.
