=============== From some story about an "apparent" Fox attack =========
Urban foxes are common throughout Britain but attacks on humans are extremely rare.
The London Wildlife Trust told AFP it estimates there are approximately 10,000 foxes in London. It has no record of any attacks by foxes on humans.
=========================
=============== 1st result from Google on "Children attacked by Dog"======
Dog attacks are attacks on humans by feral or domestic dogs. With the close association of dogs and humans in daily life (largely as pets), dog attacks—with injuries from very minor to significant, and severe to fatal—are not uncommon
Regardless of the breed of the dog, it is recognized that the risk of dangerous dog attacks can be greatly increased by human actions (such as neglect or fight training) or inactions (as carelessness in confinement and control).

Couldn't be bothered to search any more..... but I think what Churchy has said or implied a couple of times is "......There are other possible explanations......"
I have never seen or heard of a genuine/proven attack by a Fox on a human/child but I have 1st hand experience of Dog attacks on Humans/Children.....
I can't judge this particular case..... but will be attempting to "monitor" as facts become clearer.......Comment

There are quite a few recorded incidents of foxes attacking humans - they wouldn't necessarily be recorded by the "London Wildlife Trust" which, let me guess, is on the side of the wildlife.Originally posted by Drewster View Post=============== From some story about an "apparent" Fox attack =========

So I'm still interested in what Churchy thinks happened - he still won't tell us what his "obvious conclusion" is.Hard Brexit now!

This tale should join the baby eating and grave robbing nature of the fox...

fox dug up and ate the corpse of a newborn child that had been buried in a mass grave alongside 12 other babies, it was revealed today.
The child was believed to be the son of a poor African family and his flimsy cardboard coffin had rotted within six weeks of his burial, leaving it exposed to animals.
The newborn’s corpse was then dug up and taken last September and has never been found. It is assumed that the body was eaten by a fox.

I have seen a fox attack with my own eyes. A friend of mine was feeding one a bit of pepperami on a petrol station forecourt and it went for her hand. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

Salisbury News: Child Attacked By Fox In Salisbury?

Child Attacked By Fox In Salisbury?
I'm being told there was a fox attack on Thursday afternoon at the church school camp east of Salisbury.
I'm told he was taken to PRMC and six shots were given to start the rabies treatment.
I do not have a confirmation on this and I truly have been trying to gain access to such information but no one is talking? I even have the child's name but of course I'm not going to produce that.
Can someone else out there confirm this to be true? Do NOT put up a name as I will not allow that to be posted. Thanks!
