Best first pint in hot muggy weather

What pint of cold refreshing fermented vegatable products gives you that first pint of 'WOW!' factor.
I like a pint of ale along with the next girl, but on really hot days, nothing beats a cold pint of lager (possibly with a top).
Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.

I just put my ale in the fridge, after 20 years of drinking lager I can't stand the stuff these days.

Alternatively a pint of Pimms No.1 goes down well.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

A nice chilled oak conditioned cider or palm beer is my summer tipple

Lager for me but without the top. It's a shandy in disguise

Depends on how much I want to drink.

Bitter shandy, Lager top, Cider or Guinness are all good on a hot day.

Quite agree (am I now a girl? )

Just poured out SY02 a pint of Bulmers Pear cider (with ice). She screwed up her nose and said it tasted like "White Lightening". Sheeesh, what's a guy to do.

A lager with lime top is a good summer tipple. Zerodegrees (small chain that brew their own) have currently got an elderflower beer - very nice on a hot day.

I can't stand the stuff and for me the lemonade ruins a perfectly good pint.

Cold Guinness or a decent cider go down well here. A decent cup of Lapsang Souchong is excellent if I don't fancy alcohol.
