How to rid of skip?

Do you have any legal redress against your builder. Do you plan to sue?

If so I would suggest paying the amount and adding it in to the damages against the builder.

Sue who? The guy most likely isn't even in the UK legally and can barely utter a word of English, the stupid c**t.

I'd threaten him with legalities if (a) he gave a cr&p, (b) I wasn't worried about him breaking my windows after and (c) if it would make any difference bearing the hassle involved.

And yes, the skip is full....

Tell the skip company they have 28 days to remove their skip - failing that you'll sell the skip to another skip company for the amount it would cost to dispose of its contents.

Simples.

Legally you can not sell it or get rid of it until you have given the owner a chace to collect.

The skip company is trying it one: you have no contract with them.

Write to them staing the above & send it recorded, give them 28 days form reciving the letter to contact you & arrange collection.

Just to note: they are not obliged to take it full & can request it to be emptied prior to collection, or you can agree to pay thier standard rate which should be around £250 for a 8 yard skip

Sorry to tell you but the construction industry is a bit dated, skips are in yards & alloy towrs are in feet on plan & meters on height, trad scaffolding is in feet, system scaff is in meters
