I do like Fridays though, much higher chance of getting the double seat to myself (as I did today) and avoiding the train weirdo getting on at Chippenham (What is it about Chippenham?).

me too, I get to chip off early around 2pm and get a fantastic German efficient 300kph/186mph train with reliable wireless broadband throughout the whole journey, a decent onboard restaurant and wide spacious reclining seats.
