      And yes, support people, PMs etc etc - you're not real IT people.

      2. Basic, C, C++, Matlab (inc. Visual Matlab), VB6, VB .NET, Unix Shell scripting, PL/SQL, T-SQL, Java script
      3. 11 years
      4. Still enjoy it
      5. Spent long enough using VI to become numb to the pain

          Homebrew, built from components Zilog Z-80, 16kRAM, 4k EPROM. Dual 8" Floppies.6" monochrome text only crt with vertical rather than horizontal linescan.
          Ported Intel's ISIS-II operating system onto it.

          God knows, loads, maybe still fewer than 100.

                  My first computer only cost me $250. My second computer cost me £2000, which was quite a lot at the time. It was the 60Mb disk that really pushed the price up.

                      I'm sorry to say that I don't anymore. I used to a lot, but these days I am more interested in the business problem I'm trying to working on. The programming bit just gets in the way.

                      I'm a bit stuck at the moment. I should get someone else to do my programming stuff and let me concentrate on other things. My problem is funding. However, I hope to have that sorted soon (ish).
                      How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
