Wonderful images
I'm not sure the volcano has any effect on the aurora, which is going about its business up in the ionosphere, but that's a beautiful conjunction of two of the most visually spectacular phenomena that are given away free with a place on this planet

Reuters Photo Fraud
But I'm sure I've seen other fantastic photos of this that didn't originate from Reuters."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

The volcano with the snow on it looks like day light picture. The light is coming from the font right of the camera making shadows in the snow. The road in the foreground; light is coming from behind the camera an left making shadows in the oposite direction.Originally posted by zeitghostThey look much too good to be true to me.
Far too much light on the volcano for one thing.
