Aye, two mods in 5 years, scary stuff. Seeing as we have had three new mods join in the same period I would use stats to suggest that mod numbers are increasing at a good rate. Moderator numbers on the board have increased at 10% per year over the last five years

With cojak, NAT and rh now modding the forum you are all modding yourselves already Before the of the last few weeks the forum did pretty much run itself.

Maybe in the same vein, although grumbling about CUK, scotspine is projecting a similar general sense of gloom and uncertainty.
It could well be! Although the market seems to be picking up for now but I think may well be blatted again after the GE. So if CUK mirrors the jobs market then things will get better for a few months and then go mental again. Oh joy

Bloody spin doctoring and bad maths gets everywhere these days.

It's 8.4% per year. Or 5.9% if you count yourself.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Rounded to the nearest 5% that is 10%...

To be fair I was only working it out v quickly. Roughly the forum has been on this platform for 5 years. Started off with me and scotspine on here, completely forgot about the CUK Editor (who also mod the forum) and need to include that too actually.

            So 2005 = 3 mods and now 2010 = 5 mods = 66.6% increase over 5 years = 13.3% per year.

I will miss your (albeit quite rarely exposed) humour.
(I think) the board in general (sic) will miss you.

                  Ma Salaam

(Which means in paraphrase - "As you go I hope you go in peace")

What it actually says is "After you go, wipe your arse with a piece"

Oi SP, The retiring judge walks through an honour guard of judges as they discharge their firearms into the air, while another judge formally bids him farewell. Once they take the Long Walk, judges are expected never to return, but to die "bringing law to the lawless."
