    Not even close £1444.

Band C ( which I'm not going to argue with the council about ).

What kind of amazing services do British town councils provide for these preposterous charges?
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

They collect a tiny wheelie bin every two weeks. The roads are only passable in a 4x4, with more potholes than road surface.

        Err, that's about it.

I think I get good value for money for my £1095. Now if I was paying double that I might hold a different line.

Don’t you even get a Crustacean Community Liaison Officer?

We pay about 450 euros a year council tax plus 150 a year for the wheelie bins.

Thank Thatcher for that, council tax came from poll tax didn't it?

Think my CT is about 1600, my rates before CT started where 110 quid......

Including fecking water which costs me 90 quid a month now.

                  Anyone beat that?
Have you thought about moving to Westminster?

                    Band H, £1400

Wandsworth council, probably the best council in the world.
                    And I mean that seriously.

Wandsworth and Westminster rock. Camden Council are crap and their rates are very high. Richmond is even higher, but only because the Government nicks all their money.
