As a serious answer S85 of the Postal Services Act 2000 details the prohibition on sending certain articles by post. Specifically S85 (1) states :

A person commits an offence if he sends by post a postal packet which encloses any creature, article or thing of any kind which is likely to injure other postal packets in course of their transmission by post or any person engaged in the business of a postal operator.

So on strict interpretation you would probably be ok as long as it was security wrapped and sealed, ie not likely "to injure other postal packets in course of their transmission by post or any person engaged in the business of a postal operator." If it was poorly wrapped then you could be deemed to be putting otgher items of post or postal operators at risk.
