It is causing serious long-term damage to the British economy. My objections are not racism, nor am I advocating protection (I never would). I think that what this policy is doing is destroying the earning capacity of the country. It goes beyond IT and into all sectors. Why should a youngster invest their time and money in gaining skills only to see that investment destroyed before they get a chance to pay it off?

I think they missed the point about onshoring; but it's good to know even if I do get replaced by Bob earning £10/day; I can just retrain and I'll be fine!
