I bought my dead-exciting Yaris new after graduating university partly for the free insurance, and partly to avoid messing about with MOT for 3 years. It had a faulty suspension which was fixed under warranty and is still running with zero problems 7 years later... good value for money in my eyes.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishing -
By all accounts the Yaris is a well made good car and Toyota have an excellent reputation for reliability.Originally posted by d000hg View PostI bought my dead-exciting Yaris new after graduating university partly for the free insurance, and partly to avoid messing about with MOT for 3 years. If you'd bought it at 1 month old you would probably have got the same warranty and insurance deal, but at a lower price.
I'm currently contemplating replacing my Mondeo (boring, but ideal for my type of mileage and I can't get excited by more premium brands) with one registered at the end of December, it's done under 100 miles and is £8k less than an unregistered one.Comment

Enjoy, I want to buy new someday but only if I can commit to keeping the car for the long term. I nearly bought a BMW 1 series diesel Coupe brand new last year but after test driving an Z ///M I opted for a slightly used one of those instead. I dread buying second hand as you just never know......a 1 year old car can still look perfect on the outside but could of had its necked wringed to near deathComment

Well done on your new car - you'll need it with the state of the roads nowadays - bloody hell, I lost all my fillings this morning....If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.Comment

Do you have two pairs of string back driving gloves or do you use the same pair?
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

I have a 7 for shopping, and an 8 stood outside to upset passers by.Originally posted by BolshieBastard View PostIm not. Im much too decent.

picky
For seeing clients it's a Mazda 6 MPS, and for weekends: video.
Just ignore the jealous types on here. If they spent half as much energy fruitfully instead of snide remarks, they could have the same.
Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.

Luxo-barges are great. I rather fancy smoking about in an old S-Class Merc. A W140 S600 would do the trick:Originally posted by threaded View Post

I bought two new cars and didn't think about the depreciation.
If you can afford it and aren't worried about it then why not.
Sold one of them recently and got quite a good deal on it considering.
If you are going to keep a car for quite a while then it's worth it.Comment
