Tried some local garage that the AA bloke drove me to and they were total tulip, said it was ok only for me to have same issue later, *****rs - they drained my battery also and it cost me to replace it.

Seems a good few AA blokes are sharks. Had a similar experience where the AA bloke destroyed the battery. He then told me I needed a whole new wiring loom on a motorbike, which as a favour, he'd be able to do for me.
