I've never had a perm job but currently out of contract since 2 weeks and the rates aren't looking too clever.
A pimp wants to put me forward at 90k sterling plus bonus in a London bank.
What kind of bonus can a senior techie realistically get ?
Are we talking nothing, 5 grand or 50 ?
Is there are forum for City workers ?
I've googled.Comment

It can vary a lot....probably somewhere in between. 90 k sounds like a 14 hour a day job, plus weekends.Originally posted by LegendsWear7 View PostI've never had a perm job but currently out of contract since 2 weeks and the rates aren't looking too clever.

Credit Risk, Basle 2, Sarbanes Oxley skills are in high demand allied with SAS/statistics skills.
Standard .Net and Java developers - I don't know about.
£90K for a pure play techie role sounds high, but is not exceptional at management level - if you are key (and here perception matters
) then half your salary again as a bonus is about normal.
Hard Brexit now!
