One thing that seems certain to me: humans will continue having wars and killing each other in the forseeable future - and the sacrifices that we commemorate on Remembrance day seem destined to be repeated by future generations.

Given that the above is undoubtedly true, I can see Diestl's point of view - although I can't bring myself to be so cold-blooded about it.

Without the insults it may have been OK. And as I had just posted about not calling people names then I am in a slight state of shock... Please no personal abuse, even if you don't like what is being said.

I am with sasguru on this, I know what Diestl is saying but can't bring myself to be so cold. Like I said, since having kids I have become a lot more sensitive to how these people suffered and also that they did give their lives so we could live ours in the way that we do.
