Cycle paths that, although in theory purpose-built, are naff all use for cycling because they've got road signs, ironworks, railings, fault lines in the asphalt and bizzare kerb formations every 5 metres like some kind of elongated Zen rock garden.

Quite a few "purpose built cycle paths" in the UK seem to have been designed by someone who has never ridden a bike, or who quite possibly doesn't even know what a bicycle is. I have seen a few that it simply isn't possible to ride safely in.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Not at all. A point like that is worth making twice. Plus I hadn't read down to the end when I replied

I was replying to a post, not the whole thread, and I would have posted what I posted even if I had read the whole thread.

Commuting into work and seeing heaving bosoms, shapely bottoms and toned, slender legs everywhere I look, only to arrive in the office and be greeted by the sight of a bunch of middle aged flubsters.
