Cycle paths that, although in theory purpose-built, are naff all use for cycling because they've got road signs, ironworks, railings, fault lines in the asphalt and bizzare kerb formations every 5 metres like some kind of elongated Zen rock garden.Comment

Quite a few "purpose built cycle paths" in the UK seem to have been designed by someone who has never ridden a bike, or who quite possibly doesn't even know what a bicycle is.
