Had a strange dream where I relived parts of the drive down, specifically the contra-flows and bridge works.
What is it with German motorways and all the bridges? I am certain several of the new bridges just stopped in mid air and had open fields at either end, i.e. they were there but nothing could use them, and they didn't appear to be replacement bridges as they weren't anywhere near old bridges, or any other proper roads that I could see on the navigator.
Some places had two lanes, but you'd catch up with a lorry and there was just no way to overtake as what remained of the 2nd lane was too narrow, and they went on for miles.Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.
