I went through a phase of trying to follow 'Getting things done' by David Allen.

I made some improvements at the time, but it has all gone to pot. Maybe I should have another go.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Read this book at Uni, really prepared me for contracting.

        Death march By Edward Yourdon

Talked to a contracter friend recently, we have been on several projects together, in different parts of the world. He asked "What are we doing wrong, why do we end up on sh1t projects" Reply "We are contractors, permie's don't want to ruin their careers"

Fantastic read, bet you got some dice out whilst reading it? Didn't enjoy The Search for Dice Man so much though.

"How to get things done" - I never finished it. (Joke)

Candide & The art of war are my two favourites

All is for the best & Know thy enemy
