You are a touchy fella. I think I will draw my own conclusions from that.

I am used to dealing with alot of difficult cases : and I try to be understanding wherever. I think Ive been very nice to you considering. Most here just ignore you and resent anyone who quotes you. I can see their point of view.

Nobody in this world is unhated. By virtue of being white and Christians we are probably hated more than you could imagine.

Well, I have a lot of experience of northerners that hate Thatcher but were probably at primary school when she was in power. Thus it must have come from the parents.

Those northerners were brought up in poverty (the proper kind, without Sky) because Thatcher got all their dads sacked, and then struggled to find work themselves in her aftermath.

That'd be their argument anyway.

So true. They have worsened education standards which has made it more difficult to bridge the gap between achievers and underachievers.

I genuinly don't think this was there intention, and whilst i do think they were trying to raise the bar for the lowest common denomination they were also trying to help the disadvantaged who wanted to achive more.

Problem being they were incompetent, and they became too focused on media reaction, basing policy more on how the public/media would react rather than a long term strategy, eneding up with the short sighted mess we are now in.
