1. Destroyed union power (but now the fat cats have carte blanche to do what they like).
2. Liberalised the City (but now the fat cats have carte blanche to do what they like).
3. Allowed people to buy council houses (leading to a shortage and hence a housing boom)
4. Shut down inefficent manufacturing (but now we have no manufacturing)
5. Started the process of making Britain understand that it was not a great power anymore (a process which is continuing slowly).Hard Brexit now!

Not bankrupting the country? Though some would argue she laid the foundations by exposing UK plc to the mercy of the free market.

Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

The top one has to be being party to keeping the UK out of Labour's failing clutches for almost two decades. Just look at the litany of failure before and ever since that just sadly seems to be never-ending.
The nearest Thatcher ever got to the IMF was MFI.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - EpicurusComment
