Yesterday I was up at 6 a.m. and very productive all day. I hit loads of job boards and updated my records (i.e. weeded out the dead jobs) and checked loads of big local employers' web sites and went through my emails and updated some alerts and all sorts of things. I kept that up until bedtime at about 10 p.m.
I was thoroughly fed up at the end of it as the technology had been fighting back all day (I had to re-install Firefox and all its add-ons etc.).
And amongst all that effort, I found one gig to apply for.
Yet the preceding day, with little effort, I made ten applications.
Today is signing on day. I always struggle to motivate myself after signing on; for some reason it saps me of all my energy.

Did you anywhere with asking for the scrum master course?
I took a letter in to them this morning explaining about contracting and when I finished work and being laid off and no money and stuff.
I've had a call saying they have all the information they need to go straight to the head office approval stage, thereby skipping a couple of approval meetings and shaving a week or two off the timeline.
Apparently I should hear more once they have made their decision ... in about four weeks.

If you really are that keen to find a position - I shall ask a certain ArchAngel -- on your behalf - he always delivers.
