    WHS.

She can't write for toffee nuts. Still the great unwashed like it, so it must be good.

I'm a little disturbed by adults reading kids books and fancying schoolchildren. Is it arrested development and the rise of the kidult?
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

I think reading the kids books and enjoying them is fine (I am a big fan of HP) however the fancying school kids thing is a bit wrong. Then again, Emma Watson recently did a shoot for some fashion house, can't remember which one, and she was seriously vamped up - so not suprising that she's lusted after.

Edit.... I don't think many fellas (incl Mene) would advocate lusting after her in her Hogwarts uniform!!

I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

As the source of the possible-perved-ness here I just wanted to clarify that:

              (a) my comments about Emma Watson were made about her post-18 self (and particularly in light of the recent vamped-up shoot referred to by CM)

              (b) as a happily resigned to being a me-and-the-dog type chap my comments were meant to be comedic (e.g., see Frankie Boyle)

              Now, back to the nonsense.

I edited my post - I didn't want you to think I was implying you were a perv!

                    Phew! Thanks.

Anyhoo ... I'm far too old and ugly to be in the lusting business.

If you never read one, how do you know it's not good reading for adults?

Typical pretentious snobbery. For most people, books are about story-telling, not scintillating writing as art.
