I have the odd week where I drink no alcohol at all and I've found I get mild hangover like symptoms for 2 days after my last drink which I wouldn't get if I'd had a pint or two the night before, after 2 dry days I feel good again.

I think it has something to do with the liver producing enzymes to break down alcohol that's not there.

Not getting 'buckled' tonight... child duties.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson
