....good luck with that one MichIs God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - Epicurus -
Bollux. This is a leftie and crap argument that Mich is using.Originally posted by The Lone Gunman View PostThere are non so blind........
Business is business. There is a market rate, with some exploitation some of the time, eventually that ceases as people become more educated and organised and fight for their rights.
What you consider a pittance enables people to do all sorts of things that they couldn't before like send their children to school. The next generation then improves and gets less of a pittance and so on.
That is what has happened in Asia generally since the 2nd world war.
In Africa the people have got used to aid and are worse off than 60 years ago.
[Edited] There is a prominent African economist who now says all aid should be suspended and the 3rd world left to sink or swim in the free market. He's confident that there will be massive improvement within 3 generations.Last edited by sasguru; 3 June 2009, 15:39.Hard Brexit now!

I can recommend a couple of diets then. You have your head so far up your own backside I am not surprised you've put on so much weight.Originally posted by sasguru View PostQuiet bird-brain, the heavy-weights are talking.
And quite frankly, you are such an arrogant tosser you have actually matched the heights of cyberprat - which isn't something I would ever think possible. Mich is surely right that it is more racist to pay third-world workers low wages than it is to complain about companies doing that when our countries' rules say that they shouldn't.
But it is beginning to look like the old Usenet Godwin's Law: sooner or later somebody draws a comparison to Hitler or the Nazis. Try to discuss outsourcing to India, and somebody will accuse you of racism. (Try to discuss outsourcing without mentioning India, and you will be unable to get to the point).Comment

What they are trying to promote for those laid off in the USA is a move to the countries where the jobs are going yet you will only get the local going salary.“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

If you mean paying them lower wages when they are working over here then yes, you're right.Originally posted by expat View PostMich is surely right that it is more racist to pay third-world workers low wages than it is to complain about companies doing that when our countries' rules say that they shouldn't.
.
But I dare say an Indian programmer's salary in India enables him/her to live very well. So I read anyway.Hard Brexit now!
