World cup in Japan & Korea.

It was quite surreal turning up at the local greasy spoon half cut, stayed out till 1:00 AM the morning we beat the Argies.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Nope, having watched my mum destroy herself with drink i know too well where that sort of thing leads.

Same here - seeing gangs of tourists guzzling lager at 8.00 am at the airport always makes me feel self-righteous! And lonely
only when I am on a stag do will i drink this early!

but to be honest i will drink when I damn well feel like it and when it is safe/sensible to do so - so not before I am going to drive - rarely if ever at work (e.g. in lunch hour) cos I will just fall asleep.

other than that if i fancy a beer reading the paper at 11.00 am on a sunny saturday morning I will have one (but tbh I normally prefer coffee at that time!)

I would not normally touch beer in the morning but I was desperately thirsty when going down to breakfast in Krakow a couple of years back and the waiter was shocked when I ordered a pint. So was I actually !!

I wouldn't. I think I developed a set of rules when I was young designed to stop me becoming an Alkie (pity they didnt work)

Don't really drink at home unless we have visitors but quite often have a beer or 3 in the AM as I'm still in the pub and quite often watch God and his Polaroid having a giggle when I stumble out into the early morning shoppers

Only when I'm flying. Departure time is just before 10am , but I'll have had at least one glass of by then.

Not at the moment though for medical reasons. I can't even have a drink two days in a row without suffering.

I'm getting fed up with it
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

I would very rarely drink before lunch-time, other than on Christmas morning or on a long plane-flight when you have no idea what time it is anyway.

I would consider having a drink with a late breakfast in the sun somewhere... Hogaarden at 10am with a bacon sandwich would be quite civilised.

The only occasion I can recall drinking in the morning was on a diving trip in Poole harbour while I was at university.

Wern't allowed to drink the night before to ensure sobriety in the water the follwing morning. Since the dive started at 6 am and we were done by 10, it was beers all round on the quayside to make up for the previous nights abstinance.

It was also where I learned the trick of chugging a bottle of lager in one to avoid losing most of it when some joker "tapped" it with their bottle.
