3.5 days to go and I've already been told that there won't be an extension. My efforts to get my next gig aren't proving too fruitfull either

I've got about 5 weeks to go too- unfortunately I have been told to cut my hours by 50% effective immediately - the client is starting to 'feel the pinch' which is good for allowing time for hunting down the next gig not so good is the warchest is severely depleted following the house move, kids in private school (no places in the local state school) and a third one ready to go to pre-school nursery :-(
