      must... keep... spirits.... up...
Rent a flat near a desirable state school and declare it as your primary residence until your children are accepted into the said school... then move back.

My wife works on the school admissions department, they're all at it.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

It an option to consider, though the difference in ages of the kids means we have to do this 3 times in the right area for primary and secondary schools, plus the warchest needs to be deep enough!

Cough - but a lot less than school fees!

School fees - worst mistake I ever made

My 2 year old is in a nursery, £700 a month. If I pull him out we probably can't get him back in as there is a waiting list. So, I'll be sitting at home not earning whilst paying someone £700 a month to look after my kid.

At least the first £243 is tax free. Its only fair.

Save me a seat. Finish friday lunch time also.

Had a spurt of calls a couple of weeks ago but looking a little bleak out there at the moment.

Looking forward to a short break. Would be nice to have the summer off, but one can wish, don't think the missus would let me - I would be stacking shelves at Tesco before the autumn.
