TBH the suit looks cheap, I have tried to tell you that with insinuation. The rule is never brown in the town and if you want to go for that then go for it.
I was referring to "Wee Strachan" etc

Alternatively, go to Turkey for a week, visit a tailor in Istanbul with pictures of the cut you want and choose your fabric. If you buy 3 suits you’ll get very good quality and save the price of your airfare and hotel compared to tailors in London. You can get good tailored shoes there too. Just make sure you wear all the suits and shoes for an hour or so before you get on the plane so you don’t get done for taxes at your home airport.

OK, so I know, it’s like outsourcing and all that, flame me if you like, but if you want tailored suits at a reasonable price it’s a good option.

Very smart, I approve. But don't forget about a decent shirt.

NO, woman, he’s a techie; only the finest polyester shirt with a pocket for biros and sweat patches under the armpits will do.

Never even heard of this rule and it seems an old rule at that http://asuitablewardrobe.dynend.com/...n-in-town.html

Do you actually know what you are talking about Minestrone? Just because you buy Armani suits doesn't automatically mean that you have style and know what to wear FFS.

I'm just trying to educate you in social clothing politics, you seem to be resistant to that.

Do as I do then, business trip, expenses, etc. Everytime I decide to go over to the UK to stock up I make sure of a meeting (even if in the pub) and claim everything
